I am 70 years old now, but I came to Christ dramatically during the Jesus movement in the 1970's. I grew in the Lord very quickly through the Bible church I attended. The Christian Coffee House I managed, and the Jesus People ministry I was a part of, drew me into a quest to know the Lord in deeper ways. I attended Crown College, a Christian & Missionary Alliance college in Minnesota, and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Bible and theology. I then spent a year being mentored by one of the most God-aware people I've even known, Pastor Ken Churchill. During my internship I married Laurie Bubna, whom I met in college. Then together, we went on to Dallas Seminary. I graduated with a Masters of Theology in 1980, then became part of the Metropolitan District of the CMA and planted a church in Medford, NJ. I've written three books, all of which came from sermon series I preached. We have seen our house church grow into a church of a couple thousand people, plus we branched off a few more churches from that. Now in my retirement stage of life, I feel the Lord has called me to encourage and build up pastors who are still leading churches right now.
